A study by dating app Flirt Planet says only five per cent of women like chat-up lines. The chat-up line, "I like your dress but it would look better on my bedroom floor" has been named the worst of all by women. In a list of corny lines least likely to succeed it was followed by: "I’m looking for treasure – can I have a look around your chest?"

Spokesman Sebastian Coman said: "Some compared the stress to the stress experienced during their driving test."
