WOULD LIKE
A ‘would like’ használata nagyon egyszer?, vágjunk is bele rögtön!

(Ezt szerintem lehetetlenség összekeverni…)
Tehát ha arról beszélsz, hogy valaki szeret valamit, akkor a sima ‘like’-ot kell használnod, ha pedig valaki szeretne valamit, azaz kér valamit, akkor a ‘would like’-ot kell használni.
A ‘would like’ kifejezést igékkel is lehet használni, mégpedig akkor, ha azt akajuk kifejezni, hogy valaki szeretne csinálni valamit! A ‘would like’ használata mindig udvarias, úgyhogy nem lehet vele mellényúlni.

Tehát, ahogy azt a példamonatokban is láthattad, ha azt akarod mondani, hogy valaki valamit szeretne, akkor a ‘would like’ után csak a f?nevet kell tenned:
ALANY + WOULD LIKE + F?NÉV (a dolog/dolgok, amit valaki akar):
I WOULD LIKE A PIECE OF CHOCOLATE
Ha pedig azt akarod mondani, hogy valaki valamit szeretne csinálni, akkor a ‘would like’ után f?névi igenevet kell használnod (to+ige):
ALANY + WOULD LIKE + TO + IGE:
I WOULD LIKE TO WATCH TV.
Ha kérdezni szeretnél, akkor az alany és a ‘would like’ helyet cserél:
WOULD YOU LIKE + NOUN?
WOULD YOU LIKE + TO + VERB?
Would you like some coffee? – Szeretnél egy kis kávét?
Would you like to go home? – Szeretnél hazamenni?
