Twice a day, at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. children’s songs are played at the fountain. The audience can listen to the following songs: “A cinege cipője” from Halász Judit, the soundtrack of the cartoon Pumukli, Abrakadabra from Cinderella, the soundtrack of “Vuk” from Wolf Kati, “Miki manó” from 100 Folk Celsius, “Micimackó” from Koncz Zsuzsa, and “Legyetek jók, ha tudtok” (“State buoni se potete”) from Napóleon Boulevard. In the evening, from 9 to 10 the fountain is playing its whole repertoire.

The musical fountain on Margaret Island is considered to be one of the largest fountains in Europe, with its 35 meter diameter pool containing 400 cubic meters of water, and a more than 1000 square meters water surface. It jets the water up to 10 meters. 250 energy saving LED lights are providing the mood lighting in the evening.
The extended fountain on Margaret Island was inaugurated in 2013.
