Pieces of Her is an American thriller-drama streaming TV show made by Charlotte Stoudt. It is based on Karin Slaughter’s 2018 book of the same name, and its first episode aired on Netflix on March 4, 2022. It was given another season on May 3, 2023.
In Pieces of Her, Andy, a 30-year-old woman, is caught in the middle of a deadly shooting at a local diner. Moments later, she sees her mother, Laura, quickly and violently get rid of the threat.
As Andy starts to figure out what her mother did that day, she gets a new view of their whole family connection. Soon, people from her mother’s past show up again, and she has to run away. She tries to find the truth that her mother buried a long time ago as she travels.
