Man: Not my favourite, either.

Woman: Shame. I didn’t see you at the lectures.
Man: I have last term’s notes but they didn’t help much.
Woman: Why not? What was the exam like? What should I focus on?
Man: The notes covered only about half of the exam material. The rest was based on the reading list.
Woman: I’d better head for the library, then. I have some photocopies, too.
Man: It was stupid of me to ignore the reading list. I thought she covered every topic at the lectures.
Woman: Thanks for the tip. I hope I’ll be able to find all the books.
Man: Try looking online as well. Ex-students put them up for sale on the uni webpage.
