You don’t have to go to Hawaii to encounter spectacular beaches. If you have decided to spend time on the “old continent” this year but are still dreaming about relaxing by the sea, here is a list of the best beaches in Europe. Spend your vacation in these untouched natural havens with exquisite beaches to escape the worries of the outside world and reconnect with yourself. Now is the time to spoil yourself and plan your summer holidays.
Porto Santo Golden Beach (Madeira Island, Portugal)
You should travel to the Madeira Islands to regain some energy. The Madeira Islands, which include the main island of Madeira and Porto Santo, were voted by European Best Destinations the most beautiful islands in the world and the safest destination during the Covid-19 pandemic. This year, the Madeira Islands should be on your bucket list.
The Golden Sand beach in Porto Santo, named “Best Beach in Europe 2022,” is well-known worldwide. It is renowned for its medicinal properties and is ideal for leisure. At Porto Santo Spa, you can enjoy warm sand and seawater treatments.
Bolonia Beach (Cádiz, Spain)
Bolonia Beach is a perfect summer destination. This summer, you can rest on its magnificent, kilometer-long, fine-sand coastline. Bolonia Beach is the place for you if you enjoy peace and quiet and wish to find unspoiled, untamed shores. Bolonia Beach may, with luck and clear skies, allow you to see the African coast.
Does your partner prefer history to relaxing on the beach? Near this idyllic shore, you can find remains of structures from Roman times. You can also travel to Cádiz, where you will find many opportunities to immerse in the culture and try amazing tapas.

Cala Goloritze (Sardinia, Italy)
This summer, explore the wild beach of Cala Goloritze in Sardinia. If you like walking, you can get there on foot (one-hour hike). Although the shaded route is attractive in the summer, strollers and people with limited mobility cannot use it. You must wear sturdy footwear, especially for the ascent on the way back. If you are not up for walking, get there by boat.
Parking is free; however, access to the beach is limited, but you need to pay. This extra expense was decided upon in order to protect this magnificent location. To take advantage of the peace and avoid the heat, arrive early. Stop at Punta Salinas to take a panoramic picture of this heavenly beauty.
Monolia Beach (Lichadonisia Island, Greece)
This beach is also known as the Greek Seychelles, and it definitely deserves this title. Come unwind this summer at “Monolia Beach,” one of the Greek Lichadonisia Archipelago’s most stunning beaches. A number of the neighborhood hotels provide boat excursions to spend the afternoon at Monolia Beach, a tropical paradise. This beach is clean, far from the busy tourist spots, and offers a restaurant hut for a drink or lunch. You can enjoy the soft sand and blue sea.

Mitjaneta Beach (Menorca, Spain)
It doesn’t come as a surprise that Spain had to appear on this list more than once. The most stunning beaches in the country are undoubtedly found on the island of Menorca. Mitjaneta Beach is absolutely stunning, and you should visit it if you dream of soft sand, blue water, great temperatures, and constant sun.
This beach is not the biggest, so if you want to enjoy its serenity and find the best spot to set down your towel, rise early. If you are brave enough, you might even catch the sunrise here.
Elafonisi Island (Greece)
If you are looking for a unique place, this is your destination for this summer. It is one of the few beaches in the world with pink sand, which makes it one of the most stunning in all of Europe.
You can expect shallow, clean water, pink sand, and a breathtaking landscape. You will be in the perfect place to unwind and forget your worries. Calm waters make it a perfect spot to snorkel and discover underwater life.
There is plenty of free parking close to this magnificent beach, so you can bring all your necessary items. Remember to bring an umbrella and enough sunscreen, because even out of the season, days here are very warm and the sun can be intense.
Santa Giulia Beach (Corsica, France)
The beach of Santa Giulia is one of France’s most stunning beaches and is situated in Porto-Vecchio in the southern region of Corsica.
The beach has white sand, crystal-clear water, and pine trees that provide shade. It’s the ideal location for relaxation and energy restoration. Whether you want to swim in calm water, catch the sun, or simply enjoy the murmur of the sea with the splendid landscape, Santa Guilia Beach might be your perfect destination.

Camilo Beach, Portugal
Portugal is one of the hottest destinations in the summer. Cultural heritage, great weather, and relatively cheap prices attract tourists. If you are looking for the perfect beach holiday, head to the Algarve, the southern region.
Camilo Beach, one of the most picturesque beaches in southern Portugal, is located in the western Algarve, not far from the buzzing seaside town of Lagos. This beautiful nook of sparkling white sand can be reached via a long wooden stairway that leads down through the local flora. Framed by sandstone cliffs and interestingly carved rock formations, it’s a perfect place to admire the wild landscape.
Despite being close to some of the major resorts in the area, Praia do Camilo’s serene environment radiates a sense of peaceful exclusivity and is lapped by the shallow, turquoise waters of the Atlantic Ocean.
A little café on the clifftop is a perfect spot to have a drink or small snack, with a spectacular view of the coastline between Lagos and Albufeira.
